Honeymoon: New York City

We spend the second leg of our trip in New York City. Between the subway, busses and (mostly) our feet we traveled all over Manhattan and into parts of Queens.

Here is the city that never sleeps...

Honeymoon: Canada

Joel has asked me several times what my favorite part of our honeymoon was, and I have different answers each time. But as I skimmed through our pictures I kept pulling out the photos of various pubs and the fort at Halifax. Maybe not the most exciting venues, but these were the places where we stopped walking, reading and making decisions; we just sat and soaked up the feel of Canada.

Last night I dreamt that Bob Kelso became our new F&B manager at Diablo. "Sweetheart-I-don't-care how many jeansandteeshirttigerwoodswannabes are whining and crying about the hold up! Members are priority here at Diablo Grande and you will do whatever it takes to keep them smiling, smiling! And by the way, no more employee discounts... Ah, Mr. Ricks spectacular drives today. Did you get a new haircut?"

Today I went to the LIBS department, but forgot to get some chocolate. I always get chocolate. Sometimes I go there with the singular intent of getting chocolate. What was I thinking!?
